LARPs:


Shadowmoor - An independently owned SOLAR campaign, Shadowmoor is a LARP based out of Kings Mountain, North Carolina. While I haven't played since the it spun off of SOLAR, the owners and a number of the regular players are friends of mine.

Cerroneth - Another independently owned SOLAR campaign, Cerroneth is a LARP based out of southern Mississippi. While I've never made it out to play Cerroneth, a number of their regular players make the trip east for occasional SOLAR events.


NERO - The largest LARP network on the continent, with 50 active chapters spread across the United States and Canada.

Dust to Dust - A Fantasy LARP with a late middle-ages setting, set in a place where the Celestial host has  descended and fallen Heroes return, mankind wages war against the forces of the Most Foul.

Dying Kingdoms - Located near Santa Monica, California, Dying Kingdoms is a Role Playing heavy game that simulates cinematic combat via a hit point location system. The setting is high fantasy, with costuming influenced from a range between the medieval time period into the time of Louis the Sun King.

Shards of Orn - The Shards of Orn
is a Raleigh, NC-based fantasy boffer LARP. Full weekend events are held monthly from April through October in the group cabins at William B. Umstead State Park.

LARPing Supplies:
Larping.org - A website focusing on producing and sharing LARP content and connecting the LARP community on the web. The website includes descriptions of and links to US and international LARPs has a page devoted to LARP related shops (like this one).

Ring Mesh - This company makes a beautifully light steel chain mail alternative. While they originally designed their products for butchers and SCUBA divers (for shark protection), they've embraced the LARP community and welcome our business.

Team L.A.R.P. on Esty - A collection of people who specialize in selling handmade LARPing supplies.
